The extension being completed plays a tremendous role in recruiting for Nash and his staff. Coaches can hit the recruting trail with confidence knowing things are in order back at home. It also gives potential recruits faith in knowing that they will be playing for the coaches that bring them into the program throughout their college careers.

Most local sports fans feel it only seemed fair that Coach Nash received an extension expressing despite a some what disappointing season, the Bows were a young team but at times did show flashes of an exciting team. With everyone returning and a conscious effort to recruit to improve at certain positions, the future looks bright for Rainbow Basketball.

The question being asked by a number of local sports enthusiasts is does coach Nash deserve a longer contract, because maybe 2 1/2 years isn’t enough time for any coach to build and establish an identity for his or her program? Guess we’ll see how things go for the Bows next season.

Congratulations to Coach Bob Nash and his coaching staff on the extension and good luck with recruiting.
