Hawaii High School Athletic Association
The High School Football season was another exciting one to witness and as hoped for the two best teams were the last two standing as they faced off to see who was really worthy to take hoe the title as The 2009 HHSAA State Football Champions. Kamehameha and Kahuku advanced to the finals and all of Hawaii awaited to see who the true champion was. Kahuku used their traditional running attack to make it this far while Kamehameha bolstered a more balanced attack having a well established wide receiver core to advance to the championship game. Kahuku’s traditional style of offense asn’t enough to stop the Kamehameha Warriors as they go on to win their first state championship title under Head Coach David Stant. Click Here for more details.
