The Wahine took us on a great ride this season as they advanced to the Final 4 of the NCAA Volleyball Championships. The Wahine were looking for one more to advance to the Championship game and a chance at making their dreams come true and become the NCAA Champs. Standing in their way were the Penn State Lady Nittany Lions who seem to have a destiny of their own having already won more then 100 consecutive matches and 3 straight champioship titles. The Rainbow Wahine have put themselves in a great position as they won Game #1. But this only seemed to wake up the sleeping Nittany Lions who won the next three games on their way to winning their 4th consecutive NCAA Championship and keeping their 100+ match winning streak alive heading into next season. With such a young team returning so many starters next season maybe the Wahine will have their revenge next season on their way to another title run. Congratulations Wahine and goodluck in your off-season preparations. Go Bows!

The University of Hawaii Football team heads back home to Hawaii with high hopes and post season dreams still alive as they host the Navy Midshipmen this Saturday at Aloha Stadium. The Midshipmen are a much improved team posting an 8-3 record coming off an impressive win against the Fighting Irish two weeks ago. Warrior fans this will be no easy task for the home team if they wish to keep their holiday bowl appearance possible. To add some substance the Midshipmen are lead by two former UH quarterbacks, Head Coach Kenny Niumatalolo and Offensive Cordinator Ivan Jasper. Sports fans can’t wait to see who will get the best of who as the current Warriors do battle with the Rainbows of old.  Catch the game on pay per view or on ESPN 1420AM. Kickoff is 5:00pm this Saturday. Go Bows!
