The Punahou Buff n Blue add another title this year to the trophy case as the ladies soccer team defeated 3 time defending Champs Kamehameha in the HHSAA Div I State Soccer Championships. The game winning and only goal came from from Jayann Gabrio as she headed a pass from senior Aisha Price past the goal tender. Congratulations to the Lady Buff N Blue!

In Division II of the HHSAA Girls State Soccer Championships it came down to penalty kicks after regulation and two overtimes Pac Five and Kapa’a had yet to determine who would be going home with the title. With the penalty kicks all knotted up it was Geena Fong’s right hand corner kick that proved to be the difference that lead to the Lady Wolf Pack of Pac Five raising the trophy. Congratulations to Pac Five and Geena Fong who was also named Tournament MVP!
