The Arena Football League, after almost 20 seasons of wall smashing, high scoring, upclose and personal, indoor football competition, is canceling its 2009 season. After several interuptions from the hold up of the release of the 2009 league schedule to the sudden resignation of former Commissioner baker, you can easily say you saw something going on with the AFL, but not this.

Not only do fans look forward to their favorite sports season but so do the players and their families who sacrifice so much for the game. I guess you could say the economy just made a few more hundred young talent men unemployed. Stay tuned as we dig up the dirt on why the AFL really shut down for 2009.
