What’s up sports fans! Can March Madness have been any more exciting than it was. Well we all saw it go down as the Butler Bulldogs won over the hearts of all hoops fans as they gave the Duke Blue Devils a run for their money in the NCAA Championship game. No one gave the Bulldogs a fighting chance but they showed us all that they deserved to be in the national championship game. With great defense and a never give up attitude Butler took Duke town to the wire and with no time remaining almost shocked the world with a half court desperation shot by Gordon Hayward that almost stole the victory. But tonite belonged to the Bule Devils as they played a disciplined style of ball on their way to their 4th NCAA Championship 61-59. Butler head coach Bobby Stevens said it best after the game that there’s nothing for his team to be ashamed about knowing they played the Blue Devils like no team had been able to compete with them all tournament. One thing for sure is Butler represented for all the mid major schools and small sports programs around the globe who have the dream of one day playing for the title against one of the most decorated college basketball programs known to man. The duke Blue Devils are the champions but the Butler Bulldogs are the real winners as they won the hearts and respect of all hoop fans.
Congratulations took the Duke Blue Devils who are the 2009 NCAA Men’s Basketball national Champions!
